About Us
Founded in 2002, Womenade of the Hamptons is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that gives back to the community by providing short-term financial assistance to qualified individuals from the North Hampton, Hampton, South Hampton, Seabrook, and Hampton Falls areas.
Our Mission
Womenade of the Hamptons provides short-term, financial assistance to people needing support from the greater Hampton, NH area. We serve men, women and families, understanding there are moments of unexpected financial turmoil.
Womenade of the Hamptons seeks to assist qualified individuals bridge the gap of hardship that they are experiencing in life.
How it Works
The first step is to apply for help. Recipients of financial assistance from Womenade of the Hamptons shall be referred by a validator from a referring organization. This may be be a physician, clergy, school system or social services organization that is familiar with the applicant's need for assistance. Self-referrals are not accepted.
Our eight-member Board of Directors consider each qualified application for assistance, as they are received, and grants of up to $500 are awarded to qualifying individuals. Those who have received a grant from Womenade of the Hamptons must wait two years before applying for additional help.
